Birgit Eggink will join us to give the Active Bystander workshop from Fairspace! This is an organisation set up in 2015 to combat street harassment and has grown into one that battles all kinds of unsafe and discriminatory situations.

On the 3rd of December from 13:00 to 15:00, SWEI will host the Active Bystander Workshop by Fairspace. Fairspace is an organisation that works towards the goal of making all spaces safe spaces for everyone. What started as a grassroot initiative in the North of Rotterdam, has grown into a nation-wide organisation that provides talks about street harassment, anti-racism, and bystander intervention. Please join us for these two hours to interactively learn about the 5 D's of bystander intervention and practice with responding trauma sensitively in these difficult situations.
